Christina Boland is the Third Level Traveller Access Officer at the Institute, and is from a Traveller background herself. Christina willbe available to offer confidential advice and support to Traveller students in the college. She also works in the community to encourage Travellers to apply to IT, Tralee and can be contacted on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the college term.
Students with Disabilities and Students with Learning Difference
If you have a physical or sensory disability, a mental health or a significant health condition which you would like to bring to the attention of the Institute, it is recommended that you contact the Access Officer to discuss appropriate disability-related facilities and services prior to your application.
If you have dyslexia or any other learning difference it is recommended that you contact the Officer for students with Learning Difference to find out more about the available services.

All students are required to make themselves aware of their rights and responsibilities as outlined in the student handbook. The Student Handbook is available to download and hardcopies will be issued to all students at registration.
The Institute reserves the right to cancel or revise any course in the event of insufficient enrolments. The Institute also reserves the right to change the times and dates of delivery of the programmes offered. In the case of a course being cancelled, students will be notified and all fees will be refunded automatically. The Institute will not accept responsibility for damage or loss to student's property while on the premises;

Students may only attend classes for which they are enrolled and have paid fees in full;
Transfers are not permitted between courses once registration has taken place.
In the event of a lecture being cancelled at short notice, the Institute will endeavour to inform students of the cancellation in advance where possible.
At registration students are required to provide a contact number for texting facilities which can be used in the event that a class is cancelled. All courses (including progression courses/linked major award) are offered subject to demand and resources.
